Your tagged URL

Paste a destination URL above to generate your tracked link.

How it works

Paste your destination URL

Drop in the page you want people to land on — your homepage, a blog post, a product page. Existing query parameters and anchors are preserved.

Fill your campaign parameters

Set the source, medium and campaign name — or pick a platform preset to fill source and medium instantly. Term and content are optional for A/B tests.

Copy the tagged link

Grab your ready-to-share link with one click and drop it into your posts, ads or newsletter. Nothing is stored or uploaded.

Pro tips

  • Lowercase everything. Analytics tools treat "Facebook" and "facebook" as two different sources, which splits your reporting.
  • Pick a naming convention and stick to it. Consistent source, medium and campaign values keep your reports clean and comparable over time.
  • Think source = where, medium = how. utm_source is the specific platform (linkedin, newsletter), utm_medium is the channel type (social, email, cpc).
  • Never add UTMs to internal links. Tagging links between your own pages restarts sessions and corrupts your attribution data.
  • Use term and content only when you need them — term for paid keywords, content to tell two variants apart in an A/B test.

FAQ

A UTM parameter is a small tag added to the end of a URL — like ?utm_source=linkedin&utm_medium=social — that tells your analytics tool where a visitor came from. When someone clicks a tagged link, Google Analytics and similar tools read those tags and attribute the visit to the right campaign.
Three are considered required for clean reporting: utm_source (where the traffic comes from), utm_medium (the type of channel) and utm_campaign (which campaign it belongs to). utm_term and utm_content are optional — term is mainly for paid-search keywords, content for distinguishing A/B variants or link placements.
Yes. UTM tags are just standard URL query parameters, so a tagged link works anywhere you can share a link — LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, a newsletter, YouTube descriptions and more. Keryo can even schedule those tagged posts across all your platforms from one place.
Completely. This UTM builder runs 100% in your browser — your destination URL and campaign values are never sent to a server, logged or stored. Close the tab and nothing remains.
Yes, it matters a lot. Google Analytics is case-sensitive, so utm_source=Newsletter and utm_source=newsletter show up as two separate sources and split your numbers. Keep everything lowercase to avoid duplicate rows in your reports.
